The Whole of the Law

MJ I got this because, after listening to the new Vitriol about a half dozen or so times on repeat, I had to have even more self-obliterating batshit insanity, and Anaal Nathrakh most closely fit the bill. Inexcusably late, but this party’s filth and depravity never ends. Highly recommended! Favorite track: Hold Your Children Close and Pray for Oblivion.

barlface This album is very nostalgic for me, as it's the first album that pushed me into the overall world of Death and Black metal. I remember being dissatisfied with most mainstream metal bands, thinking that I could never be an actual metalhead, because Disturbed and bands like them sounded too soft and fragile. But Anaal Nathrakh blew my mind, introducing me to a soundscape that was raw, carnal, and heavy as hell. This album nearly dislocated my spine when I was 17. And I am very thankful for that. Favorite track: Hold Your Children Close and Pray for Oblivion.
